Jeg har før skrevet om funktionen i Google Maps der sammen med Google Gears gør det muligt at bestemme hvor din computer befinder sig lige nu (trådløst netværk eller udfra IP-adressen). Samme funktionalitet kan også gøres med Google Earth 5 plugin.
